It’s been a few days since I’ve written, but I’m back at it again. On Tuesday night, I won 4/4 games playing pool. Needless to say that practice and learning this season has provided me has been of tremendous value. Our team has now gone from last place, to in contention for 3rd. It’s all depending on how we do next week against the #1 team. I’m looking forward to that match…
I’ve been working really hard on lots of different projects, it seems that as soon as I cross something off the list, 5 more are added. But steadlily I’m making progress. My new coaching group is going well, and I’m eagerly looking forward to my first group coaching call today. I’ve got a ton of great material to share with them.
On Monday evening, I spent 45 minutes talking with Clate Mask. He’s the president of Infusionsoft. A company with 500 employee’s in AZ. I had sent him an e-mail with some of my thoughts, and told him I’d like to chat with him a bit. To my surprise, he actually responded. His secretary e-mailed me, and we setup the time to chat. I was really nervous at first, but shortly into the call, I setteled down and we had a great conversation about his product, and the direction his company is taking. I gave him my ideas on how to improve things, and he listened intently, even at one point asking me to slow down, because he couldn’t write the ideas I was throwing at him fast enough.
After roughly 45 minutes, we exchanged pleasantries and he told me he was going to put me in tough with the senior VP of product development and the VP of marketing and sales. He said both of them needed to hear what I was saying. What a thrill for me. Validation that the things that go on in my head are actually really valuable, and not just to me!
I’m looking forward to working with those people when they contact me.
So now, it’s back to work, so much to do and so little time it seems….
